This is news to me. We...Reading <i>isn't</i> a city? This is news to me. Weird.<br /><br />The idea that Exeter (where I've lived) and Salisbury (where I've lived) are, but Reading (where I've visited regularly) isn't is simply daft.<br /><br />I moved to Salisbury because, in those pre internet days, the opportunity to open a store in an actual city was a good one. IT's smaller and more pathetic than the town of my birth (Paignton), with fewer options for going somewhere interesting outside (nearest conurbation of note: Swindon *shudder*).<br /><br />I like living in, or near, cities. I'd happily live in Reading, and considered seriously moving there in 2006 (she was quite pretty).<br /><br />Huddersfield also isn't a city, but should be; annoyingly, looking at the rules, despite being a massive town, it can't actually be a city as it's one of several towns in a unitary.
